Day-1: Kathmandu arrival

Arrive in Kathmandu’s Airport (Tribhuvan International Airport). Arrival transfer to hotel will be arranged.

Day-2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Visit 3 places(Bhaktapur, Pashupati and Boudhanath). Starts from 9am and ends in 4p.m. The sightseeing will be organized with a vehicle and a tour guide with the language preference. Lunch during the tour depends upon the service purchaser. Bhaktapur is an ancient city with many monuments standing from 14th century. Pashupati is the largest Hindu temple in the country expanding a territory of approx. 400 Acres and lots of deities but the temple has a major temple of Lord Shiva. Boudhanath is the largest stupa(Buddhist) in Nepal. Visiting this site will be interesting because it is the blend of Tibetan culture with modern Kathmandu.

DAY-3: Kathmandu Sightseeing

9:30 am-4:00 pm. Head towards Swayambhunath(monkey Temple) where Kathmandu valley can be seen from a hilltop. It is a Buddhist Stupa on top of the hill. It is 80 meters higher than Kathmandu valley. Monkeys on the way can be seen performing several activities, sometimes sleeping. Then the next destination will be Patan, one of the three ancient kingdom in the valley. It has lots of things to view; art, window carvings, museums and local peoples’ way of living. Lunch is usually recommended in this place as you can relax in the ancient capital and enjoy a serene atmosphere. After this, go to Kathmandu Durbar Square, it has a museum, old temples and buildings also a local market where people usually flood in after 3 p.m. Spices of several varieties, flowers, colors, clothes, gold, copper utensils, statues are the major things vendor put in display on the walk. This is also a place for bargain hunters.

DAY-4: Namobuddha-Dhulikhel

8:30 am-4:00pm. This is a classical route. Both places located 60 kilometer from the capital. Namo-buddha is in the elevation of 1750 Meter above sea level. A massive monastery is constructed on top of the hill. One can enjoy the view of mountains above 8000 meters with a monastery. People inclined in photography will have a perfect opportunity to capture the rare beauty of nature in this spot. Along with that, one can enter the monastery which has outstanding art, paintings and also know the way of living of Buddhist followers. It is a peaceful place. On the road, one can view rural part, countryside and rice/potato(seasonal) field. Returning from the monastery, Dhulikhel will be the next destination. There is located a medieval village with small temples and window carving displays in old houses. After this, lunch is recommended nearby Dhulikhel in a place where one can enjoy exquisite cuisine in a resort, which has view of fabulous mountainside and green hillside.

DAY-5: Kathmandu-Chitwan

Chitwan is located in the southern plains of Nepal with a distance of 220 km from Kathmandu. The mode of transportation by an airplane or a bus is the choice of the individual. Bus may take 7 hours while the flight lasts about half an hour only!.  On the road, one can enjoy the majestic view of a large river(Trishuli) on the highway. In case of adventure sport, rafting in freshwater can also be seen. Lunchtime is generally allocated in the highway in an average category restaurant with few choices. After the arrival to Chitwan, the visitor has a day-off so using this opportunity, an individual can relax in the riverbank with some snacks and enjoy sunset. Nighttime can be occupied with a traditional dance show along with dinner (included in the tour).

DAY-6: Chitwan

The tour starts at 8 am in the morning from a canoe which lasts for an hour in the river. During the boating, crocodiles can be seen floating in the river and sunbathing. Once you reach the other side of the river, unique species of birds can be seen, common birds are peacock and woodpecker. A short walk will allow the visitor to watch some small species in the jungle and ultimately head to an elephant breeding center with more than a hundred elephants in them. If interested, one can also take a bath in the river along with elephantsSmall and mischievous elephants usually grab attention. In the afternoon, individuals are guided for a jungle safari, depending upon the individual to choose a motor vehicle or an elephant with who they want to be accompanied. The nighttime is leisure.

Day-7: Chitwan-Pokhara

­Departing from Chitwan, the next destination is Pokhara. Pokhara is in the distance of 150 kilometers from Chitwan. Pokhara has a large lake in the middle of the city. Boating can be done in the lake by the individual. The day of arrival on Pokhara will be leisure, visitor will be checked-in a hotel and then given time for the next day sight seen(recommended to start a tour next day by 9 am.)

DAY-8: Pokhara

Sightseen will be started from the time preferred by the client. Drive to Davis Falls, a giant stream. Then drive to the top of a hillside, Peace Pagoda. Then, visit Mountain Museum, Old Bazaar and temples.

Day-9: Pokhara-Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu. 

Day-10: Departure

Accompanied by a car from hotel to the Airport.

  1. Mountain Flight

The program will be scheduled early in the morning at 5 am during the time in Kathmandu. One can view Mount Everest from an airplane and take photos. The flight usually lasts for an hour.
